Homemade Tacos

I'm back... This time I cooked Homemade Tacos for our little family, it's one of our FAVORITE meals!!! We love taco night at home, even the kids love it because they get to enjoy making their own however they like it...

So let's get started on how to make them..

Ingredients:

1 lbs Hamburger
1 package of Taco seasoning (what ever type you like original, mild, medium, hot) we use mild because of the children.
2 Packs Taco Shells (We use those new soft bowels they have became our favorite)
Lettuce
Tomatoes
Cucumbers
Can of Corn
Shredded Cheese
Taco sauce (We use the Tacobell sauce that you buy in a bottle at the store)

Directions:
Brown your hamburger drain, and add in the taco seasoning with 3/4 cup of water. Let it start boiling and then simmer for 5 mins.

Chop up your tomatoes and cucumbers how ever you like then cut.

I use really pretty glass bowels to add all our topping in its own bowel and place in the center of our table..

My husband likes our shells heated for 10 seconds too, so they don't fall apart..

Then you have everything placed on the table and enjoy building your tacos as a family..

I know cucumbers and corn sound weird on tacos but it's really good, if your up for trying something new this would be it.. Sometimes we also use Doritos on our tacos too..

Thank You for stopping by I hope you enjoy and I'll be back again with something new soon!! :-)

Making Tea!

Today I want to talk about making tea! :-)

Does your family love drinking sweet tea, iced tea whatever tea it would be? Well my family does and we drink a whole lot of it too!

So that leaves me making tea almost everyday, if not everyday then every other day.

I make my tea by boiling my water and tea bags on the stove and then making it in my pitcher with sugar.. I don't have a fantasy tea maker, I used to but it broke and so I just haven't gotten another one!

But when I make my tea I have this problem that I ALWAYS ALWAYS bust the tea bags. Then my tea is left with tea leafs floating all in it, and we have to drink them also.

My family doesn't like when that happens so today when I made tea, I really tired not to bust the bags. BUT.... That didn't work and they still busted.. Lol..

So not wanting to leave the leafs floating around, I thought of this thing I saw my babysitter doing when I grew up and I gave it a try...

She used to rubber band paper towels over her tea pitcher and pour the tea through it to catch the leaves.

So I tired that my own way, I took this really thin kitchen towel I had just pulled out of the clean towels and rubber banes it over the pitchers. Then slowly I started to pour the tea on to the towel and it slowly went into the pitcher leaving the leafs on the towel..

This is a slow process, because if you go too fast you'll spill most your tea down the sink because it runs through slowly! So take your time!!

When you are almost finished and your new pitcher is filled with tea and it's touching the towels you'll have to pull it tight to let the tea go through it and not stay a little puddle..

But once your done with it the towel will be filled with the tea leaves and your tea will have none, just rinse the towel with water and throw it in the laundry to be washed!!

I know some are probably thinking it's easier not to busted the tea bags, well yes I know but I am the worst for it so this is how I fix the problem!!!

Have a good day please comment if you tired and liked this idea or if you know something you would like me to try and see how it works out...

My homemade Chicken Pie

So this blog here, is my personal blog. I usually post whenever I can find something to write about. But now I think I am going to take a little different route with blogging, I think I am going to write when I cook of craft something I think people will like. Although I know not everyone will like it or even try it, it will give me something to do and maybe someone will enjoy it... :-)

So up first here is my homemade chicken pie. I'm not sure how many ways you can make chicken pie but this is my way and in my home it's homemade by me so that's what I am naming it... :-)

What you will need:

Chicken Breast (I used 3 pcs) boneless, skinless breast.

**Note** you can use whatever type of chicken you want bone in or out butbs don't like picking off the bones.

1 large Can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup

1 Large can of Cream of mushroom soup.

**Note** If you don't like mushrooms don't stress, you can't taste the mushrooms my husband doesn't eat them either but he loves this Pie!!

1 Large can of mixed vegetables

Bisquick mix

Step 1: Wash the chicken, and place it into your pot, add water then place on stove top and turn on high or medium high to boil. Let the chicken boil about 30 mins or until it's turned all white.

Step 2: After your chicken is cooked and while it's cooling down. Opening up your can goods, place them in either a pot to hear or dump right into your glass dish. Mix together with a spoon.

Step 3: After the chicken is cool and your able to handle it use your knife or two forks and cut it up into sizes you'll like to be inside in pie. Dump into the mixture your have and mix together good.

Step 4: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Step 5: Perpare your bisquick, or crust glad using.

Step 6: Pour your bisquick over the pie and smooth out with a spoon.

Step 7: Place in your preheated oven and bake on 350 degrees for 45 mins to 1 hour or until your crust is golden brown.

**Note** You might want to broil your pie for a few moments but keel a really close eye so you don't burn it..**

Yields: About 10 servings

This is how I cook my pie at home for my family, I hope that you enjoy and give it a try. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to place those in the comments below.. I will be back soon with another blog update with someone else you might enjoy..

Crocheting in 2015

Well I had this amazing thought, I would crochet a different colored square everyday in 2015 and then by the end of the year I would see them all together and make this wonderful blanket...

Well as you all might have guessed this is day number 4 of 2015 and I have half of the first square done!! :-(

I really need to get with it, there is so much I want to make, but I never just do it.. I have a blanket I am working on now which is Washington Redskin colors, I am needing to make my son a blanket, I have the yarn just don't know what I want to do with it..

My husband wants a blanket.. Then it will be Christmas again before we know it and I wanted to make my gifts this year for dirty Santa and not buy them..

Man I have a lot to do and I need to get started... I am hoping to do so here in the next little bit.. Get that kick in the tail and get this stuff made up!!! :-)

Oh plus on top of all that I really need to clean, organize, and remodel our home!! So glad there is 365 days in a year so maybe I can get something done!!

Goodbye 2014 Hello 2015

Wow!! It's a brand new year.. Which means one book closes and a new one is opened up, you have 365 days to write your book, so make it better this year then what it was last year..

Last year for me was pretty amazing... We started 2014 out living in California and then moved back to North Carolina to finish out the year..

Braxton went through a lot with medical and going back and forth to doctors, as well as two surgeries. But seems to be doing so much better since both of those surgeries.

DannieLynn has grown so MUCH! She is so smart, talking to her is like talking to an adult... She also started school this year and loves it so much!! Her teacher is amazing and so far it's been a great school year...

But heading into 2015, I think about my book this year and what I want to write, and my hopes for this year is to Become closer to The Lord. Be the best mommy to my babies, be a better wife to my husband..

Also I am hoping to get better about getting organized and keeping on top of my house duties as a mother and wife. As well as I am praying we can do a whole bunch of remodels that we have been talking about on our home..

I am praying for good health over my family this year and myself.

I always say I am going to drink only water and loose weight but hey that never happens at all.. I am the worst at keeping up with those things!

Also in this year, I am wanting to spend a lot more time with my kids, blog, crochet, and also I am wanting to start a new fictional blog or something for fun.

But we will see, I always feel I can't write or I feel like I just say blah blah and people are like why do I read this mess but I am hoping to become better and be amazing to where people will want to read it..

Also for this year, I really feel like I need to figure out and finish my high school, I just have this feeling and have had it for a while I really want to finish schooling, and I want to do it before my kids finish school lol....

So here is to 2015, I hope and pray you all have an amazing year as well!!!

Happy NEW YEARS 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I am just NOT Ready....

Oh my five years have already passed and it's time for Kindergarten for our big girl DannieLynn.. I keep telling my self in my mind, I am just not ready for this but I know I have to be.. I can't stop her from growing up and that would NEVER be anything I would want to do anyways.. I am so blessed to see her growing up and being her Mommy.. I wouldn't change anything about our big girl.. I am so very much proud of her and it's so amazing all the things she has learned so far in her life and I know a lot more is to come.. I hope and pray that she will love school, and that she will be ready to learn all that she can in school..

But back to the title here, why I feel like I am not ready... Well that's a lot to do with little things I keep battling with my self..

I keep thinking, what if she gets lost and won't talk to the teachers so they can help her get back to her class or know her name...

What if she doesn't tell the teacher she needs to potty and uses the bathroom on her self..

what if she doesn't talk and tell the ladies what she wants for lunch..

what is she chokes on something and the teacher isn't paying attention..

That is some of my WHAT IF's and I know it's CRAZY right... This is what my mind keeps going back and forth with but I know she will be ok and I know that it's all in my mind..

After meeting her teacher today and seeing how well DannieLynn acted with her and around her, it makes me feel a lot better and I feel like she will be ok and know to talk to her teacher and let her know if she is needing something.. She was relaxed and willing to do what the teacher asked of her today and it was pretty amazing to see..

SO after today, I finally think my mind and everything is more prepared for this school year and I can't wait to hear all about her first day of school and how excited she will get talking about all that happens everyday!! I can't wait until she brings home cool little things she made in class and all they'll do in this 2014 School year!!

I am going to TRY my best to take a photo of her EVERY day before school and also make her a book with each year of school with all her things she brings home and everything..

I am kind of excited to have a child in school now although it will take some time getting used too..

Love you guys thanks for reading... I'll be back soon to post more!!
